OUR EXPERTISE
For nearly 16 years, our company has been researching, designing, prototyping, and manufacturing LED-based lighting fixtures and systems, ranging from the smallest power ratings to large systems specially designed to meet your most demanding needs.
From one-off artist’s pieces to series of several thousand items, Bio Power Lighting’s main objectives remain customization, specificity, quality, research, and innovation.
Our offices, workshop, and storage area are located in Auvergne in Saint-Georges-de-Mons (63).
From your specifications to the finished luminaire, the manufacture of a lighting system involves a process consisting of several stages: research and design, prototyping, industrialization, procurement, production, quality control, and logistics.
The design
The Study
Our design office is made up of a team of engineers and industrial designers whose mission is to analyze your request or specifications and design lighting fixtures that are as energy efficient as possible, at the cutting edge of technology, and as environmentally friendly as possible.
Using design software (SolidWorks) and lighting analysis, our team will create custom-made lighting fixtures tailored to your needs.

Prototyping
Once the design is complete, the prototyping phase begins.
Bio Power Lighting has a 3D printer to produce technical parts that confirm the design or proportions of the final product.
To validate the prototype, we check that it complies with current lighting standards and requirements. To do this, the prototype undergoes various stages of quality control in our photometry and colorimetry laboratory and in our workshop.

Production
The Workshop
Once you have approved the design or prototype, it’s time for our workshop to get to work!
Our 400 m² workshop complies with the ESD standard, which is essential for the assembly of electronic products. Our operators wear smocks and safety equipment that comply with this standard and work on several assembly lines with a suitable floor.
In order to carry out our production, we have various types of industrial machinery at our disposal, such as a saw for cutting, soldering stations, a metal lathe, a resin coating station, and a wire cutting machine.

The Test Lab
To guarantee the performance and reliability of our lighting solutions, Bio Power Lighting has an in-house laboratory dedicated to photometry and colorimetry.
Equipped with a goniometer, lux meters, colorimeters, and spectrometers, it allows for precise analysis of luminous flux, spectra, and color rendering quality.
Temperature probes and a thermal camera complete this equipment, enabling us to monitor the thermal behavior of luminaires and ensure their durability in real-world conditions.
