The new version of Château Plain Point in Fronsac, inaugurated in October 2025, is nothing short of a major restructuring: in addition to the original 15th-century building, which has been completely renovated, monumental wine cellars have been built from scratch on the hillside. This renovation earned it the Best Of Wine Tourism Bordeaux 2025 award in the Architecture and Landscapes category.
At the heart of Château Plain Point, a monumental staircase designed by the CHADEBOST Architecture agency immediately catches the eye. A true centerpiece of the site, this architectural achievement combines elegant lines, noble materials, and a striking spatial design.
To complement this striking architecture, Bio Power Lighting designed and produced the lighting solution. The aim was to highlight the structure of the staircase without detracting from it, creating a subtle balance between functional lighting and architectural enhancement.
Thanks to precise work on the orientation of the light flow, intensity, and color temperatures, the lighting reveals the volumes, accentuates the perspectives, and naturally accompanies the visitors’ journey.
The result: a staircase that transforms at nightfall into a true luminous signature, where architecture and light interact to create a unique visual experience.
